Accessibility statement
What this site does so that anyone in the Austin area can read it and reach us, whatever device or software they use.

The target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA on every page. Each rebuild of the site is checked by keyboard, with a screen reader, on a phone and with an automated scanner. The cards below are the working checklist.
One heading tree per page
Each page has a single top heading and the sections step down from it in order, with landmarks for the header, menu, main content and footer.
A skip link up top
The first thing a keyboard reaches on any page is a link that jumps past the menu to the content.
Keyboard-only works everywhere
Menus, the estimate form and every button can be reached and used without a mouse, and the item in focus is visibly outlined.
Contrast and resizing
Text against its background meets the AA ratio, and the page still reads at 200 percent zoom without anything being cut off.
No flashing, motion optional
Nothing blinks, and the small hover and scroll animations switch off when a visitor's device asks for reduced motion.
Described images, labelled fields
Every photo carries a written description and every form field has a label that screen readers announce.
No clock on the form
Take as long as you like filling in the estimate request; nothing times out.
The phone does everything the site does
Ask a question, book a visit, raise a concern: all of it can be done by calling (737) 265-6723, any hour of any day.
Some job photographs show conditions that are hard to describe fully in a sentence, so the written description sticks to what matters for the page; if that is not enough, call and someone will explain what the picture shows. If any page is hard to use with your device or software, email hello@austingaragedoortech.com or call (737) 265-6723, name the page and say what happened, and you will hear back within two business days with a fix where one is possible.
